CBOT Building Wins 2007 TOBY Award for Historical Building

C-B-T Corporation and the Chicago Board of Trade Building team took home the prestigious TOBY Award for Renovated Building on September 19, 2007 at the BOMA/Chicago Office Building of the Year Awards Evening Gala .  C-B-T Corp. was deservedly recognized for the extensive renovation projects that have taken place throughout the lobby, elevators and corridors of the historic landmark building.  The Chicago Board of Trade Building entry will now advance to the regional level of the competition.

Historical Building: The Chicago Board of Trade Building, 141 W. Jackson Blvd., Managed by C-B-T Corporation, Owned by the CME Group and previously owned by The Board of Trade of the City of Chicago.

 Now in its 21st year, The Office Building of the Year "TOBY" Award is the most renowned and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry, recognizing quality in office buildings and awarding excellence in office building management.  The TOBY Awards are presented by the Building Owners and Managers Association of ChicagoTM (BOMA/ChicagoTM) , which is the voice of the office building industry in Chicago, representing 270 buildings within the city limits.  Now in its 103rd year and the oldest BOMA Association in the world, BOMA/Chicago, represents the interests of the people and companies that own, operate, manage and service Chicago’s commercial buildings.
