Corn Market Nervous Ahead of USDA's Ag Outlook Update

Corn prices have risen to their highest levels since the summer of 1996 on renewed investment fund buying and building concerns that the 2007 U.S. growing season might have detrimental weather conditions. The uncertainty of what the USDA will reveal its first look at 2007/08 prospects at its annual Agricultural Outlook Forum on Friday morning also added to the market’s nervousness.
