The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) Foundation is continuing with its mission following the merger of CBOT and CME in 2007 to form CME Group. The foundation provides a valuable service to a number of not-for-profit agencies serving the Chicagoland area. The CBOT Foundation Committee, which is comprised of Chicago Board of Trade members, selects organizations to receive funding annually and is currently accepting proposals for the 2008 funding year. Please note the new deadline for 2008 funding is Friday, April 4, 2008. To be eligible to receive funding from the CBOT Foundation, your organization must:

• Be administered in and dedicated to the benefit of the Chicago area
• Be non-discriminatory in its practices
• Be a charitable organization exempt from federal income taxation as a Section 501 (c), (3), (4), or (10) organization
• Not be one that contributes funds to ancillary organizations
