New Electronic Trading Hours for Legacy-CBOT Agricultural Products
Effective January 13, 2008, legacy-CBOT agricultural products will transition from e-cbot to the CME Globex electronic trading platform. With this transition, electronic trading of these futures and options contracts will open 30 minutes earlier at 6:00 p.m. and will open on a simultaneous, rather than staggered, basis.11.05.07
Extended Hours and Lower Exchange Fees for Mini-Ag Contracts
Beginning November 9, 2007, CME Group's electronically traded Mini-sized Soybeans, Mini-sized Corn and Mini-sized Wheat futures are available when you are - during Asian and European daytime market hours and now during primary U.S. market hours, side-by-side with the trading floor. CME Group to Offer Clearing for Ethanol Basis Swaps
CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange, today announced the introduction of clearing services for over-the-counter (OTC) Ethanol Basis Swaps beginning October 5, enabling the biofuels and other industries to take advantage of the benefits of centralized clearing, including daily mark-to-market margining and reduced counterparty risk.09.06.07
